The Apps Support Sr Analyst provides technical and business support for users of Citi applications, ensuring stability, efficiency, and functionality of application systems. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing risks, developing support documentation, participating in system releases, and collaborating with key stakeholders to improve performance and user experience.
Job Responsibility:
Providing quick resolutions to app issues
Maintaining application systems that are in daily operations
Managing and supporting applications' operating environments
Performing start of day checks, monitoring, and handovers
Performing same day risk reconciliations
Developing and maintaining technical support documentation
Maximizing the potential of the applications used
Assessing risk and impact of production issues and escalating appropriately
Ensuring storage and archiving procedures are in place
Defining scope and objectives for complex application enhancements
Reviewing and developing application contingency plans
Partnering with development and support areas to prioritize bug fixes
Participating in application releases
Engaging in post-implementation analysis
Identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues
Acting as liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors
Coaching and advising junior analysts.
Requirements:
5-8 years experience in an Application Support role
Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
Demonstrated analytical skills
Issue tracking and reporting using tools
Knowledge/experience of problem Management Tools
Good all-round technical skills
Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
Ability to plan and organize workload
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders.
