Job Description:

This is a global team that supports production system for Citi’s Trade and Working Capital division under Services business. We provide technical and business support for users of Citi Trade and Working Capital applications that includes providing quick resolutions to application issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help Citi succeed.

Job Responsibility:

Manages, maintains and supports applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations
Start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover
Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner
Reviews and develops application contingency planning to ensure availability to users
Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production
Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
7-8 years of experience in an Application Support role
Strong in Oracle SQL and Linux
Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
Ability to drive production incident with multiple stakeholders
Willingness/ability to learn new things and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization

Nice to have:

Good understanding of MongoDB, ELK Kibana, Microservices, Kafka
Good understanding of PL/SQL
Demonstrated analytical skills
Knowledge / experience of problem management tools
Issue tracking and reporting using tools
