Job Description:

The Applications Support Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring the systems and analyzing and troubleshooting the technical issues and making recommendations of improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Having a good understanding of apps support procedures and concepts and knowledge of other technical areas to maintain, identify and define enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments
Making recommendations for improvements
Supporting business by monitoring the systems and troubleshooting the issues
Maintaining the knowledge bases
Partners with appropriate development and production support areas
Applying good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area
Assessing the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluating options under circumstances not covered by procedures
Having impact on the business through quality of activities provided
Exchanging ideas and information in a concise and logical manner
Participating in team improvement projects/tasks
Performing other duties and functions as assigned
Assessing risk when business decisions are made, safeguarding Citigroup

Requirements:

3-5 years' experience or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas
Participation in some process improvements
Be able to work under pressure
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure is preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate
Skills in Python, Cloud Computing, Windows or Linux Operating systems, databases, MQs, Monitoring/Observability Tools systems like ITRS, Grafana, Splunk etc

Nice to have:
