You will be the architect of our digital future, ensuring our application stack—centered heavily on the Microsoft Ecosystem—is scalable, integrated, and aligned with our long-term business goals. This role requires a blend of high-level architectural design, stakeholder management, and a proven track record of leading technical teams.
Job Responsibility:
Solution Design & Strategy: Lead the architectural design of business applications, ensuring they are robust, secure, and meet the specific needs of HSL Compliance operations
Business Engagement: Act as a key partner to department heads to capture requirements, translate business "pains" into technical "gains," and ensure the delivered solutions provide genuine ROI
Microsoft Stack Ownership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform (Apps, Automate, Pages), and Power BI
Line Management: Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for a small team of developers/analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Vendor & Project Oversight: Manage relationships with external software partners and oversee the end-to-end delivery of application projects
Data & Insights: Ensure data integrity across platforms and champion the use of Power BI to drive data-led decision-making throughout the company
Requirements:
Deep Microsoft Expertise: Proven experience architecting solutions within Business Central and the Power Platform
Strategic Thinking: Ability to look at the "big picture" of how different applications (CRM, ERP, Field Service) talk to one another
Stakeholder Mastery: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff and influence senior leadership
Leadership: Previous experience in line management is essential
Requirement Gathering: A disciplined approach to business analysis and documentation
Technical Skills Required: ERP: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or other CRM Solutions
Low-Code/No-Code: Expert-level knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate
Data: High proficiency in Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation
Integration: Solid understanding of API integrations and data flow between cloud environments
What we offer:
Flexibility: True remote working with only occasional travel for key meetings
Autonomy: The freedom to shape the application roadmap for a leading compliance organization
Stability: Competitive salary of £65k-£70k and a comprehensive benefits package
Impact: Your work will directly improve the efficiency and safety of our field and office operations
