Job Description:

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst for its O'Fallon, MO location, responsible for ensuring Citi’s technology functions meet company goals and integrating them into business processes within the financial services industry.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure appropriate integration of Citi’s technology functions to meet company goals
Identify necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve high impact problems through an in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards in a mainframe environment
Provide advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide an in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing systems analysis in the financial services industry
Working with Fidelity Systematics ALS (Advanced Lending System) and performing system analysis and programming software applications
Performing application development in Mainframe Z/OS, JCL,VSAM, COBOL, CICS, SORT, MQ, DB2, Z/OS Connect API development, FILEAID, and Scheduling tools including OPC and CA7
Studying and analyzing requirements for existing systems and converting business requirements into technical specifications for developing applications for the financial services industry
Identifying performance bottlenecks for memory in CPU (MIPS) or file systems and implementing improvements
Utilizing Jira to design Mainframe technology systems using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Performing in-depth evaluations of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems, including the automation of reports, optimization of high-volume data processing to meet SLA requirements, and business transformation including Rules, Metadata, and processes
