Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions
Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming
Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

Requirements:

Relevant experience in engineering software application/product
Java 8+
Spring Boot
Spring Core
Spring MVC
Spring Security
REST
Micro Services
Experienced working with database (Oracle, Mongo DB)
Distributed Cache: Redis/Hazelcast
Messaging: Kafka/Active MQ, Tibco EMS, IBM MQ
Operating System: Linux RHEL, Windows
Familiarity with data pipeline and ETL technologies
Knowledge of JIRA, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, maven, BitBucket, Git, uDeploy
Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
Writes modular, extensible, readable, and performant, secured code
Keeps application security as top of the mind
Creates technical solution artefacts, code review records, deployment plan
Troubleshoots cross component issues
Uses advanced language constructs, design principles, design patterns
Conversant with CI/CD
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Tech Skillset- Java, Full stack, CICD Automation, Unit testing, Integration testing, Pipeline creation, Devops knowledge
Functional skillset- Understanding Domain (Banking & Payments knowledge preferably), ISO 20022/IP/MX Payment standards
Automation- Java, JIRA, CICD, Bit Bucket, Docker, U deploy, Automated Code testing, Sonarqube
Preferably should have led a team of 4-5 people
Good co-ordination & Working as a partner mindset
SAFE & Scrum Agile Knowledge
Influencing outcome & delivery – lead by example
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
