Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst

• Establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs
• Leading applications systems analysis and programming activities
• Strong solid understanding of the Big Data architecture
• Trouble shoot performance and/or development issues on Hadoop (Cloudera preferably)
• Working with Hive, Impala and Hbase for data curation/conformance related work
• Migration project with specialization in Oracle DB
• Experience with Spark/Storm/Kafka or equivalent streaming/batch processing and event-based messaging
• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to slice and dice the data as needed for business reporting

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• 6+ years' experience preferably in Financial domain
• Previous experience as a big data engineer
• Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases including Redis and MongoDB
• Familiarity with Mesos, AWS, and Docker tools
• Excellent project management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to solve complex networking, data, and software issues
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in computer engineering or computer science
• Master's degree preferred
