Job Description:

This role is for a senior engineer with expertise in middleware technologies including Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, NOSQL DBs, and Kafka. Responsibilities include building applications for bankers, advocating for modern software development practices, incorporating DevSecOps and SRE best practices, and ensuring team delivery with a culture of quality and engineering excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Build applications for bankers
Demonstrate sound engineering principles across the SDLC
Advocate and advance modern software development practices
Incorporate DevSecOps and SRE best practices
Ensure team delivers solutions that users love
Suggest improvements to software architecture and development processes
Communicate with both the client and project teams
Explore existing applications and identify areas of complexity and risks.

Requirements:

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Backend Development
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in middleware technologies like Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, NOSQL DBs and Kafka
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its idiosyncrasies
Experience in testing User Interfaces
Solid experience in an agile development environment
Strong understanding of modern CI/CD toolsets
Strong engineering principles across the SDLC
Familiarity with DevSecOps and SRE best practices.

Nice to have:

Strong bias towards building robust, scalable, and intuitive solutions
Passion for building modern web applications
Experience in mentoring other developers
Familiarity with privacy and security first principles.
