Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst will contribute to the establishment and implementation of applications systems for business and user needs. Key activities include systems analysis, implementation, programming, and leadership in coordination with the technology team.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning and risk technology
Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
Provide user and operational support
Analyze complex problems/issues related to business and systems processes
Recommend and develop security measures
Consult with users and technology groups
Ensure essential procedures are followed and define operating standards
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts

Requirements:

Intermediate/advanced SQL skills
Python
Java
COBOL
Visual Studio
5-8 years of leadership experience with a focus on people management and team development
Background in business analytics including data management and governance, data security and compliance, data analysis and modeling
Strong interpersonal skills: facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution
Expertise in presenting and using planning tools
Diplomatic and analytical skills
Agile Software Development Lifecycle methodology (e.g., JIRA, Scrum, Kanban, Confluence)
Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra)
Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud technologies for managing large data sets
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
