Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The role involves tasks related to feasibility studies, applications development, system design, and technical analysis while collaborating with teams and managing development processes.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs
Monitor and control all phases of the development process and provide user and operational support
Analyze complex problems/issues and provide evaluation of business and system processes
Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis
Consult with users/clients and recommend advanced programming solutions
Define operating standards and processes
Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Design, develop and manage databases that utilize SQL
Write and optimize SQL queries and ensure data quality and security

Requirements:

Knowledge of SQL Development and Microsoft Office Suite
Optional programming languages: Python, Java, Visual Studio, Ab Initio
Soft skills including problem-solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking, teamwork, and communication
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
