Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java (Java 8/11/17) and Spring Boot
implement Microservices-based solutions with scalability and resilience in mind
integrate with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices, unit testing, and code reviews
optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
stay updated with new technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate

Requirements:

8-12 years of relevant experience
experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
experience in managing and implementing successful projects
working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Nice to have:

good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/Openshift) for deployments
containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD pipelines
knowledge of DDD
experience mentoring junior developers
familiarity with RESTful APIs / GraphQL APIs
API management
relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
technical leadership
