Job Description:

Applications Development Senior Group Manager to lead development teams focused on Investor Services - Custody solutions within financial Services. This critical role demands a deep understanding of Java-based application development, cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, web portal development, and a forward-looking perspective on leveraging Generative AI.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and mentor high-performing teams of Java developers, Web frontend, DevOps and database specialists
Define and drive technical strategy for application development
Oversee project execution and delivery of multiple concurrent projects
Manage and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure
Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management within Financial Services Custody domain
Champion web portal excellence for Custody services
Collaborate and communicate effectively across departments and with business stakeholders
Drive innovation with GenAI in software development lifecycle

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in software development within Financial Services
At least 8-10 years in management capacity
Deep expertise in Java development, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA and related frameworks
Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong knowledge of Linux, Oracle database development, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proven track record in developing and managing web portals using modern front-end and back-end technologies
Familiarity with GenAI concepts and potential applications in software development
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
Master's degree preferred
Preferred Cloud and Gen AI certifications
