Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst

• Work with partners in Products/Operations for the delivery and support Commercial cards, Trade & other TTS products
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
• Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications and testing

• Basic level Japanese and English (read & write) language required
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry, preferably in Commercial cards, Trade domain is an added advantage
• Experience in system analysis, writing business & functional specifications, managing, and implementing successful projects
• Good communications including the ability to compile and present management level presentations
• Experience in testing, business process reengineering and software development life cycle
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Be able to manage project milestones and risks
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving skills
• Agent of change and be able to work autonomously and be able to identify opportunities to solve business problems
