The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities, consulting with users and clients, and enhancing system performance while adhering to standards and compliance regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Identify necessary system enhancements using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups
Recommend programming solutions and support customer exposure systems
Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues
Conduct testing and debugging
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
Identify problems and implement solutions
Operate with limited supervision
Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders/team members
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
Report and manage control issues with transparency
Requirements:
2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
