Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities
Drive the design/architecture tech stack post discovery phase
Perform code reviews and implement best practices
Develop solutioning per the defined design

Requirements:

2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Hands on experience in Java microservices, Python and UI
Good experience in prompt engineering
Experience working with API
Experience in driving the design/architecture tech stack post discovery phase
Experience in performing code reviews and implementing best practices
Ability to come up with large scale strategy and solutioning
Vision to establish and maintain asset or code reuse library
Experience in working in Agile SDLC model
Experience in working in Service now or any ticketing system and Jira
Experience in showing business demos and E0 estimates
Experience in database integrations
Additional experience in GENAI will be an advantage
