Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements
strong functional analysis skills with around 6-8 years of work experience in the technology team
work independently and be self-motivated
collaborate with infrastructure and middleware teams in analyzing issues and translate requirements
fulfill team deliveries and responsibilities, including third-party vendors
analyze and understand application onboarding requests
engage in testing during UAT phase of the rollouts till PROD
communicate key insights and findings to the management team
track, resolve and escalate issues in workflows, processes, and applications
engage in tracking statuses using Jira, PowerPoint, and Excel
assess risk when business decisions are made
ensure compliance with laws and policies

Requirements:

6-8 years of relevant experience
proven troubleshooting and analytical skills
must have skills - Unix/Linux OS, Shell scripting (ksh/sh), SQL, Web server (Nginx or Apache), html, Javascript

Nice to have:

MySQL
PHP
Java
Job scheduling - Autosys or Crontab
Jira
UI development experience
experience in Web Analytics tools like Google Analytics or Matomo
