The Applications Developer Lead is a senior level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Job Responsibility:
Manage one or more Applications Development teams
Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight
Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate
Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data
Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results
Ensure essential procedures are followed
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Requirements:
6+ years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of T-SQL (MS SQL server) and C#\.NET
Experience in REACTjs, Kafka, RabbitMQ and Openshift Linux build (Kubernetes & Docker)
Understanding of modern development techniques: automated testing, agile, continuous integration
Desirable knowledge: C\C++, F#
Desirable business knowledge: Securities & Custody, SWIFT 15022/20022
Desirable knowledge of Git & JIRA
Able to work with Production Support when required
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
