Job Description:

The Application Developer, ServiceNow Platform is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions that meet complex business and operational requirements. Working closely with product owners, business analysts, and architects, this role delivers high-quality solutions across ITSM, CMDB, Now Assist, and core platform capabilities, following ServiceNow development standards and best practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules
  • Integrate and configure Now Assist features
  • Manage CMDB health and data integrity
  • Build and maintain seamless integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and create technical design documents
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end users
  • Suggest and implement best practices for ServiceNow
  • Maintain clear, structured documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Engineer working on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes)
  • Hands-on experience with Now Assist technologies — generative AI workflows and skill kits on the Now Platform
  • Deep understanding of ITSM modules (Incident, Request) and solid experience with CMDB configuration, including CSDM standards and asset management processes
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps on ServiceNow (source control, automated testing, release pipelines)
  • Citizen Development governance experience
  • Experience supporting and governing citizen development on the ServiceNow platform
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-powered developer tools as part of a daily engineering workflow
  • Experience operating applications at enterprise scale with strict performance, security, and compliance requirements
