The Apps Support Sr Analyst role integrates subject matter expertise with technical and business support responsibilities, focusing on maximizing application potential, managing risks, and ensuring functionality in Citi’s operating environments.
Job Responsibility:
provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications
provide quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements
manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments
perform start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers
develop and maintain technical support documentation
assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to management
ensure storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
formulate and define scope and objectives for complex application enhancements
review and develop application contingency planning
prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements
participate in application releases, from development to testing to deployment
engage in post-implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality
identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues
adhere to operating standards and processes
act as a liaison between users, technology groups, and vendors
provide evaluative judgment for unique situations
actively participate in Support Project items
Requirements:
5-8 years experience in an Application Support role
experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
demonstrated analytical skills
issue tracking and reporting using tools
knowledge/experience of problem Management Tools
good all-round technical skills
effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
ability to plan and organize workload
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder
