Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Physical Security Systems Engineer (Application Support III) to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise physical security technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level professional with hands-on experience in access control, video management systems, and IT support who is eager to grow in a dynamic environment. You will work across access control systems, video management platforms, databases, and internal applications, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and troubleshoot Lenel access control systems and integrated subsystems
  • Support and maintain enterprise Video Management Systems (VMS) ensuring uptime and reliability
  • Manage and optimize SQL-based databases, including reporting and data integrity
  • Perform system health checks and ensure continuous uptime of supported systems
  • Support internal applications and integrations across upstream and downstream systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user tickets and escalations in a timely manner
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
  • Collaborate with IT teams on servers, networking, and system administration
  • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI and modern tools
  • Contribute to system integrations, upgrades, patching, and compliance activities

Requirements:

  • 1–4 years of experience in physical security systems engineering or IT support
  • Hands-on experience with Lenel OnGuard (certification required or equivalent systems)
  • Experience with Video Management Systems (Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, data management, relational databases)
  • Knowledge of system administration, networking fundamentals, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and end-user support skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Customer-focused mindset for handling user support
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and team-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud-hosted or hybrid security platforms
