We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support for critical business applications and integrated systems. You will play a key part in troubleshooting complex issues, monitoring system health, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and system reliability.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and resolve incoming support tickets using ServiceNow, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution
Monitor system alerts through tools like Splunk and take proactive measures to minimize operational disruptions
Run various reports to identify system issues and implement corrective actions to maintain data accuracy
Validate and reprocess failed data files to ensure workflow continuity and system reliability
Collaborate with IT and business teams to troubleshoot system interactions and reduce service interruptions
Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing updates on progress and contributing to planning and refinement sessions
Utilize Postman for workflow testing and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity and resolving system issues
Recreate production problems in lower environments and document detailed replication steps for analysis
Create detailed Jira bug reports outlining root causes, impacts, and recommendations for resolution
Analyze recurring issues to identify patterns and propose enhancements to improve system performance and user experience
Requirements:
Proficiency in Active Directory for user and system management
Hands-on experience with Dell Technologies and computer hardware
Strong skills in application support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Knowledge of Cisco technologies for network and system maintenance
Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and system monitoring
Ability to use Postman effectively for testing and debugging workflows
Working experience with Jira and Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing solutions
