Job Description:

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with a strong background in Java (Struts), Oracle PL/SQL, and UNIX Shell Scripting (Minimum 2 years of specific experience). Your primary responsibility will revolve around supporting and maintaining applications built on these technologies. Additionally, experience with JBoss and Dynatrace for system monitoring and issue resolution will be highly valued. The role will involve close collaboration with various teams across different layers of the infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

Provide L1/L2 support for payment solutions in a banking environment
Solid working experience in an application support function working in 24*7 shift at onsite environment, driving high availability on active environments and adhering to SLA
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong automation mind-set
Good ITIL knowledge in Change Requests, Incidents, Problem Managements
Monitor and resolve system issues using JBoss and Dynatrace
Maintain a deep understanding of requirements and system design for effective troubleshooting and support
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres or equivalent
Experience in planning, deploying, and reviewing changes for critical applications
Utilize expertise in Java, Struts, and Spring Framework to address system issues and optimize performance
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL for database-related support tasks
Create and maintain technical documentation pertaining to project specifications and support procedures
Offer guidance and mentoring to junior team members for effective peer learning and development
Ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders and companies involved in the payment solution ecosystem

Requirements:

Proficiency in Java (Struts), Oracle PL/SQL, and UNIX Shell Scripting
Experience with JBoss and Dynatrace for system monitoring and issue resolution
Excellent soft skills for effective communication and proactive in collaboration in a banking environment
Familiarity with payment solutions and banking systems is advantageous
Overall Experience: 2 years to 8 years
Specific Experience: 2 to 6 years
