Job Description:

As an application support engineer, you are responsible for resolving application and system problems that arise. You respond quickly when technical problems occur abruptly and need immediate resolution. In this role, you will combine business skills and technical IT knowledge to support critical systems and processes.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver onsite IT support for production and lab systems
troubleshoot hardware and network issues
support and implement label printers and analytical devices together with external vendors
provide 2nd and 3rd line application and end-user support
work according to GxP guidelines and ITIL principles
contribute to building and maintaining a knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and long-term supportability
play a proactive role in optimizing processes and ensuring compliance

Requirements:

Degree in IT
2 - 3 years of experience in IT Support / Application Support
broad IT skills and ability to learn new applications quickly
ability to explain complex ideas to people with limited technical knowledge
familiarity with GxP and ITIL Frameworks
good knowledge of computing systems within an organization
strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
passion for customer experience
ability to work independently as well as in a team
experience with custom made applications is a plus
proficiency in Dutch and English
