They are looking for an Application Support Engineer to maintain and enhance core enterprise platforms, with a primary focus on the HR (Workday) ecosystem. Job Responsibility:
Platform Support: Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 support for Workday and other SaaS applications, troubleshooting configuration and integration issues
Incident Resolution: Manage incidents, service requests, and system alerts within SLAs, performing root-cause analysis on recurring issues
User Management: Support user onboarding, maintain access and permission structures, and perform regular audits of security settings
Upgrades & Maintenance: Assist with Workday patching, application upgrades, and coordinate UAT cycles with business teams
Data & Compliance: Support data quality initiatives, assist with integration monitoring, and ensure application changes follow IT governance and compliance frameworks
Requirements:
Must have Workday HCM Core knowledge and hands-on experience supporting Workday environments
Strong understanding of Workday configuration, security, and data management
Experience with SaaS enterprise applications and integrations (APIs, data flows)
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and ITIL-aligned support processes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for business users
Good to have: Other Workday certifications (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Integration) or a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science
