Our partner, Alpha FMC is bringing their impressive UK success story to Hungary, building a brand-new Global Business Center in Budapest. They are looking for an Application Support Engineer to maintain and enhance core enterprise platforms, with a primary focus on the HR (Workday) ecosystem. Job Responsibility:

  • Platform Support: Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 support for Workday and other SaaS applications, troubleshooting configuration and integration issues
  • Incident Resolution: Manage incidents, service requests, and system alerts within SLAs, performing root-cause analysis on recurring issues
  • User Management: Support user onboarding, maintain access and permission structures, and perform regular audits of security settings
  • Upgrades & Maintenance: Assist with Workday patching, application upgrades, and coordinate UAT cycles with business teams
  • Data & Compliance: Support data quality initiatives, assist with integration monitoring, and ensure application changes follow IT governance and compliance frameworks

Requirements:

  • Must have Workday HCM Core knowledge and hands-on experience supporting Workday environments
  • Strong understanding of Workday configuration, security, and data management
  • Experience with SaaS enterprise applications and integrations (APIs, data flows)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and ITIL-aligned support processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for business users
  • Good to have: Other Workday certifications (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Integration) or a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science
