Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Developer with a strong background in .Net and Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.7. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development and application support, with a focus on delivering high quality solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing application performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and support applications using .Net technologies and Informatica PowerCenter
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of applications to resolve issues efficiently
  • Utilize SQL Server for database management and data manipulation tasks
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Ensure application performance and reliability through regular monitoring and optimization
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development
  • Provide support for application deployments and upgrades
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior developers as needed

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for the position
  • Proficiency in .Net Core
  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.7
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database management
  • Familiarity with CAWLA, Winscp, MS Access, and BASYS UI
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in software development and application support
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions

Nice to have:

  • Experience in application support and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
