We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our team in Utica, New York, on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support for various software applications, ensuring smooth operations and resolving user issues promptly. This position requires a strong understanding of claims and billing application support within the insurance industry. This company is about to go through a claims management system implementation, and this role will be a key driver for that transition and post implementation support.
Job Responsibility:
Provide technical support for software applications, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal functionality
Manage and maintain Claims Management and billings systems, ensuring secure and efficient access to systems
Collaborate with team members to address application-related concerns and implement solutions
Document and track support requests to ensure timely resolution and follow-up
Assist with configuring and maintaining billing software to meet operational needs
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their technical requirements
Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance application support processes
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or a related field
Proficiency in Windows and MS Suite
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and repair processes
Experience with billing software and other business-critical applications
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
