Job Description

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our team in Utica, New York, on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support for various software applications, ensuring smooth operations and resolving user issues promptly. This position requires a strong understanding of claims and billing application support within the insurance industry. This company is about to go through a claims management system implementation, and this role will be a key driver for that transition and post implementation support.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide technical support for software applications, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal functionality
  • Manage and maintain Claims Management and billings systems, ensuring secure and efficient access to systems
  • Collaborate with team members to address application-related concerns and implement solutions
  • Document and track support requests to ensure timely resolution and follow-up
  • Assist with configuring and maintaining billing software to meet operational needs
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their technical requirements
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance application support processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or a related field
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Suite
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and repair processes
  • Experience with billing software and other business-critical applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
