Job Description

Join Sopra Steria as an Application Support Analyst in a dynamic environment, supporting mission-critical applications for a client. Work closely with a team of 6 people in Leudelange, Luxembourg, providing functional and technical support while managing application releases and resolving issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide functional and technical support for front-office and private banking applications
  • Handle Level 2/2.5 incident analysis, including non-standard production issues
  • Liaise with development and infrastructure teams to coordinate issue resolution and deployments
  • Manage application releases and patching, including early morning production go-lives
  • Participate in a rotation-based shift (between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM)
  • Be available for monthly Saturday patching (on rotation) and occasional weekend go-lives
  • Ensure documentation of recurring issues and knowledge sharing with the team

Requirements

  • Master Degree in IT or relevant experience in a similar role (2-5 years)
  • Experience in a Production Support or Application Support role, ideally in a financial environment
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and document undocumented issues
  • Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with a service-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in French. English is a plus
