Job Description:

This Apps Support Analyst will support daily production batches. This requires research and identification from failed batches to resolutions at the quickest time. This is a business sensitive position that requires attention to detail and quick turnaround. Liaise between various support team across multiple vendors to provide seamless customer experience.

Job Responsibility:

Perform analysis of existing application protocols and software tools
Debug any Database queries written in oracle/SQL/Mongodb, ETL tool & Linux scripts
Provide application support oversight in resolving and troubleshooting problems
Provide and support recommendations for improved procedures and policies
Work with various vendors and ensure that issue resolution is as per Citi’s standards
Ensure seamless communication channel between the support and the development team
Assist and support in achieving departmental goals and objectives
Provide advanced application support to effectively utilize the system infrastructure and resources
Provide direct assistance to users in using and interpreting software tools and products
Interact with software vendors to provide best solutions to business problems
Ensure compliance of all security measures in application development processes

Requirements:

Experience in handling production support activities, identifying and resolving technical issues
Experience with handling ETL jobs in Sybase/Oracle with sound expertise in UNIX
Good expertise in database level analysis to trace issues to closure
Extensive experience in writing complex and efficient SQL DML statements
Awareness of various scheduling tools
Managing ticketed query system
Strong design & execution bend of mind to help resolve complex technical issues
Thorough understanding of ETL and relational database methodologies
Software engineering best practices
Passion for technology and self-starter
Strong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and basic task organization skills
Ability to prioritize and manage schedules under tight SLA’s
