The Application Specialist / Trainer plays a key role in ensuring successful deployment, optimisation, and adoption of Magentus products across customer sites. This role is primarily focused on application expertise, workflow consultation, customer support during deployments, and continuous improvement, while also delivering concise training to support product adoption. You will work closely with Project, Product, Development, Sales, and Support teams to ensure customers gain maximum value from Magentus solutions. Your responsibilities span the full deployment lifecycle, from configuration and testing through to go-live and post-implementation support.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with Project Teams to support the deployment of CRIS for new and existing customers, including workflow mapping, configuration, system validation, and user acceptance testing
Translate clinical and operational workflows into effective system setups that improve departmental productivity
Review software releases, interpret technical updates, and help translate them into practical customer guidance and documentation
Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying enhancements, feeding back to Product teams, and supporting development of improved solutions
Build and maintain strong internal and customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and effective management of expectations during deployments
Deliver product training in a streamlined set of formats: Train‑the‑Trainer, end‑user training, or internal knowledge sessions
Facilitate both on‑site and virtual training sessions (e.g., MS Teams) as required for implementations
Create or update essential training documents, quick reference guides, or short reports linked to delivery
Support development of blended learning materials by storyboarding content and assisting with eLearning updates where needed
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent experience in: Healthcare, Radiography, Medical Imaging, Health Informatics, IT, or related fields
Strong IT literacy and confidence with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, MS Teams)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences
Proven ability to analyse workflows, solve problems, and advise customers on system functionality
Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to remain calm, professional, and constructive when working in fast paced or change focused environments
Must have a full driving licence, valid passport, and access to a personal vehicle
Nice to have:
Hands on CRIS/RIS experience (minimum 2 years) OR equivalent RIS knowledge
Working knowledge of Radiology Department processes
Familiarity with JIRA, ERP systems
AET or other adult teaching/training certifications (advantageous)
Experience using Articulate 360 or similar eLearning tools
