Job Description

Seeking a application Security Engineer: Rhino, are you there? At WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our Rhinos and our clients.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of professional with Application Security hands-on experience
  • Experience conducting penetration testing
  • Experience performing security reviews, code reviews and customizing application security solutions
  • Familiarity with common security attacks and its remediation
  • Fluency in English (B2 Level or above)
  • Availability for a hybrid regime, 2x/week, in Lisbon (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit)

Nice to have

  • Experience with programming languages - Ruby, Scala, Python, JavaScript - is and advantage
  • Experience working in high-scale SaaS environment is and advantage
  • Grasp on Microservices architecture, web technologies and APIs is a plus

  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, including 3 or more years dedicated to application security, secure software engineering, or DevSecOps

  • Evaluate application risks and support formal security reviews to guide mitigation planning and informed technical decisions
