Job Description

Meta’s Enterprise Products team is seeking a Workday Application Manager to champion the platform in partnership with People Data and Employee Services workstreams. This is a functional, hands-on configuration role for someone fluent in a broad suite of Workday products and who excels at end-to-end solution design in a complex, 1p/3p environment. This role will partner with world-class product and engineering teams to ensure our Workday processes and touchpoints are optimized, scalable, and deliver an elevated employee experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Leverage your extensive domain knowledge to ensure the Workday platform is finely tuned to support essential services, and that its architecture delivers a seamless, frictionless user experience
  • Drive the configuration and blueprint for Workday solutions, bringing processes to life either independently or in collaboration with integration partners for both business and engineering teams
  • Be the end-to-end solution lead, translating HR objectives into technical deliverables and maximize the value of our Workday investment to thoughtfully deliver capabilities in a portfolio of first and third-party people tools
  • Own the functional roadmap for People Data, aligning your passion for data integrity, access management, and reporting oversight in service of secure, privacy-compliant, and high-performing Workday interactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years experience driving solution design & deployment in Workday HCM, with demonstrated hands-on functional and technical experience
  • 5+ years experience supporting related Workday product areas including Workday Learning, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Time-Tracking or Payroll
  • Prior ownership of Workday security administration
  • HR Domain expertise and experience translating business objectives into technical solutions
  • Experience thriving in a complex & technically ambiguous environment
  • Experience proactively focusing on product quality, platform health, and rapid time-to-value

Nice to have

  • Workday Pro or Partner certification(s) in relevant tracks
  • Experience articulating and influencing Workday best practices in partnership with HR & engineering stakeholders
  • Fluency of different integration mechanisms and custom tools leveraging Workday APIs
