The Application Launch Manager will participate in implementation efforts for a Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) platform, supporting both functional and technical delivery across multiple operational sites. This role focuses on aligning system capabilities with business requirements in a fast-paced supply chain and logistics environment. Success in this role requires a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, along with hands-on Blue Yonder experience, to drive alignment across stakeholders and teams. Flexibility for remote work is available depending on location.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate and support full lifecycle Blue Yonder WMS implementations, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and go-live execution
Organize and facilitate kickoff sessions, stakeholder discussions, and ongoing project communications
Gather and document business requirements related to Blue Yonder system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements
Assist in developing system documentation, training materials, and operational guides
Partner with internal teams, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery
Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and support mitigation efforts to maintain delivery targets
Contribute to stakeholder discussions regarding scope, priorities, and expected outcomes
Support communication plans, including status updates and reporting
Participate in risk identification and mitigation planning across project teams
Support definition of project success criteria and alignment across stakeholders
Assist with post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Support transition from implementation to production, including hypercare support
Track project progress and provide updates to leadership and cross-functional teams
Support testing strategies, including data validation, integrations, and system performance
Assist with budget tracking, cost monitoring, and financial coordination
Provide guidance and support to project team members as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
Hands-on experience implementing Blue Yonder WMS (required)
Experience supporting or leading end-to-end Blue Yonder implementations in a project-based environment
Strong familiarity with WMS integrations, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and WES/WCS platforms
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of distribution center operations, warehouse processes, and logistics best practices
Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and third-party partners
Experience working in multi-site or distributed warehouse environments
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
