The Apps Sup Tech Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who provides technical leadership, drives operational efficiencies, manages a global team, collaborates extensively with stakeholders, and ensures the safety and productivity of processes and tools.
Job Responsibility:
build, support and promote RunBook Automation (RBA) as the orchestration tool among all SMBF Applications
prioritize applications for adoption based on their criticality and secure agreement from senior management/stakeholders
coordinate adoption of RBA by SMBF Applications for One-Touch Resiliency, removing obstacles and expediting adoption
provide regular updates to seniors and stakeholders, including accomplishments, challenges, risks and dependencies
collaborate with respective technology teams to get APIs for inclusion within RPA for automation of infrastructure activities
ensure safety and security of RBA Platform and collaborate with CISO for certification
handle audits (internal and external) and address findings
manage a team of professionals across multiple continents/countries
utilize Agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Confluence) for new onboardings, developments, enhancements, backlog refining, reporting, and knowledge management
organize team to provide 24x7 support for RBA and handle escalations
improve operational efficiencies and incident management, problem management, and knowledge sharing practices
guide development teams on application stability and supportability improvements
implement a framework for managing capacity, throughput, and latency
coach team members to maximize their potential
reduce costs and improve efficiencies through root cause analysis, knowledge management, and user training
evaluate subordinates' performance and make personnel decisions
participate in business review meetings to align technology tools strategies with business requirements
assure adherence to support process standards and create or enhance processes
manage vendor relationships and service oversight
Requirements:
13 to 18 years of experience in IT industry, including in Software Engineering / large development projects
solid development background with knowledge of Java, Python, Spring boot etc.
strong background in popular relational and non-relational databases (particularly ORACLE and MSSQL), with proficiency in SQL is desirable
experience in automation, developing web applications, ensuring application performance and responsiveness, collaborating across software development areas, and implementing security measures
people management experience involving senior resources across multiple time zones
advanced level experience in a Production Management / Core Services Support role
experience of senior stakeholder management
project management with demonstrable results in improving IT services
capacity planning/forecasting exposure a plus
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
Nice to have:
project management related certification
certifications covering broader areas (e.g. AWS or SCRUM)
