Job Responsibility

Conducting EQT (Electrode Qualification Test)- all weld as per ASME Sec-II Part C or equivalent EN-ISO standards
WPS, PQR, WPQ qualification as per ASME Sec IX, AWS D1.1, API, ISO-15614-1 and other relevant codes of construction
Leading the product/process bench marking exercise/activities for different consumables with very good analytical ability
Participate in preparation of welding training course material for different module
Conducting training program on welding and welding technologies
Conducting technical seminars and presentations
Welding Inspection as per standards and Testing of welding Joints as per AWS, ASME, ISO 5817 and other customer’s specified requirements & Fit up inspection, Welding Inspection Before, during & after welding e.g. Edge preparation, set up& weld root, subsequent passes etc
Customer’s approval for WPS, coordination with TPI with clients, third party (DNV & others) for stage inspections and all other welding activities
Selection of welding filler metals, welding process as per material and job requirements
