Job Description

Meta's Revenue organization is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications. This role will support the Sales and Marketing team, which works on developing revenue generating Sales applications for Reality Labs and Business Messaging products; innovating in marketing technology and managing the Partnerships Home for all external partners. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role on our mission to reimagine this Salesforce system so it can deliver on the opportunities ahead.

Job Responsibility

  • Technical ownership of projects and managing resources
  • Work with product managers to drive strategic value through custom applications built on Salesforce, as well as our internal software stack
  • Architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems
  • Deliver performance metrics for business value
  • Collaborate with business cross functional stakeholders and software engineers to build the next generation of applications
  • Realize the AI potential in the applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing business applications in Salesforce, PHP, Java, C++, Python, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs like SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API
  • 3+ years of experience in Visualforce/Lightning Web Components/Apex incorporating JS frameworks like React, Bootstrap or Angular
  • Experience owning projects from end-to-end

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
  • Experience with leveraging AI within 3rd party systems
  • Experience building and supporting production quality software
  • Platform Developer II certification
  • Experience in understanding code bases, including API design techniques
