Job Description:

The Application Development Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple complex application development projects and programs. This role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, program management expertise, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage entire lifecycle of application development programs
Work with product owners and stakeholders to define program scope and objectives
Develop comprehensive program plans including schedules and resource allocation
Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers and development teams
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Proactively identify and mitigate program risks
Ensure development processes adhere to best practices
Continuously evaluate and improve program management processes
Manage program budgets and track expenditures
Manage relationships with third-party vendors if applicable

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
12 years of experience in program management with focus on application development
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex software projects
Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Agile certifications highly desirable
Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)
Experience with modern development technologies and architectures
Experience with project management software (Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Monday.com)

Nice to have:

Experience with financial services industry or similar regulated environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with data analytics and reporting for program performance
