Job Description

Embark on a transformative journey as an Application Developer, where you’ll design, build, and enhance applications supporting Financial Crime Screening. The role involves hands‑on engineering, building resilient microservices, automation and performance optimization. The developer will partner closely with Product Owners, Domain SMEs, DevOps and QA teams to deliver high‑quality, secure, and regulatory‑compliant screening capabilities.

Job Responsibility

  • To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues
  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations
  • Adherence to secure coding practices
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices

Requirements

  • Deliver applications to technical specifications
  • Review/validate the technical solutions and changes proposed
  • Drive agile ceremonies (planning / stand-ups / retro etc.) to ensure high velocity is maintained
  • Independently identify repetitive or time-consuming processes that can be automated
  • Consume and produce data from a variety of sources
  • Design, develop and deliver innovative and tactical solutions
  • Improves systems by studying current practices
  • Working knowledge of DevOps tooling, pipelines, test‑first practices, and Agile delivery
  • Applying secure coding standards, test‑driven approaches, and robust design patterns
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, server configuration, and data modelling for full‑stack applications
  • Effective Stakeholder management with global leads and delivery teams
