Application Developer Lead

• Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
• Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Hands-on experience in Java 17+, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, Design patterns, Microservices, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes
• 7+ years of experience in large scale Apps development as a Full Stack developer with experience using modern technology (e.g. Java, J2EE, Angular JS, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, OpenShift)
• Good working knowledge of source code control tools and technologies
• Good working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Build tools like Jenkins and Deployment tools like RLM
• Strong fundamentals of OOPS Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms
• Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solution with non-functional requirements like scalability, high availability, consistency
• Ability to write "Clean code" using Core Java, JEE, Collections, Multithreading
• Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST/SOAP protocols
• Fundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database Oracle
• Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
• Must have a good understanding of Unit testing, test coverage
• Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
• Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes
• A good understanding of Standard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
• Should have good understanding of Containers, docker deployment
• Strong knowledge with testing frameworks like JUNIT
• Experience in performance tuning of application and analyzing issues using tools like JProfiler /AppDynamics
• Experience in performing effective code and design reviews
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of Business Process Model tools
• Strong Knowledge of fixing CVM, CVMP, GEM's
• Strong Experience in migration applications of WebSphere Application Servers
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
