Job Description

Under general direction from senior developers and project managers; design, develop, and maintain software solutions supporting business operations. Collaborate with end users, project managers, and senior developers to deliver applications across web and Windows platforms. This role requires strong technical skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and enhance codebases for multiple projects
  • Collaborate with users and project teams to define requirements and estimate tasks
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards
  • Develop a deep understanding of CalSurance & Lancer Claims’ business environment to support application needs
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (requirements, specifications, etc.)
  • Design and implement Azure-based solutions leveraging services such as App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications optimized for scalability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Configure and manage Azure networking components (VNETs, NSGs, Application Gateways, Load Balancers)
  • Build and automate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for seamless deployment and integration
  • Migrate on-premises applications and databases to Azure PaaS and IaaS environments
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies using Azure Site Recovery and Backup
  • Ensure quality, security, and compliance with all deliverables

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Azure-based solutions and cloud-native applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft development stack (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET core)
  • Knowledge of Azure PaaS and IaaS environments
  • Proficient in SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, database design)
