Job Description

Medius is now looking for a Functional Consultant with a focus on North American projects. In this role you will be a vital part of Medius’ Professional Services team when working with our most high-profile customers globally. Your key responsibilities will be to guide our customers in their automation journey, helping them improve the efficiency in workflow processes related to the Medius suite of products.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with our customers to help them in their efforts to achieve improved processes and increased efficiency
  • Analyze customer data to provide suggestions on improvements in order to increase a more automated workflow
  • Guide customers on best practice processes and configuration
  • Inform customers about new features and how they can impact their business
  • Train and support clients during test phases and go live of new features
  • Interface with peers within the global Professional Services team
  • Collaborating with external partners

Requirements

  • Prior experience of cloud-based/SaaS IT systems
  • Prior experience in Spend management, Source-to-Pay/Purchase-to-Pay
  • Structured work approach and good communication skills
  • The ability to manage several parallel tasks with good quality and control
  • Prior experience of working as a consultant or in accounting
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working with Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX/Finance & Operations, Dynamics NAV/Business Central, or Infor M3
  • Previous Project Management experience a plus
  • Experience with handling numerous projects simultaneously, with varied timelines, and managing multiple deliverables

  • Utilize engineering expertise to contribute to the quality improvement process by recommending product modifications
  • Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining site visits and regular contact with customers, assessing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase revenue via the sale of service contracts, spare/wear parts, upgrades, etc.
  • Regularly strategize with the Account Manager in your region to evaluate customer opportunities and open sales projects
  • Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise
