Job Description:

We are seeking an Application Architect with extensive experience in supporting relational databases. This role involves operational support, participation in on-call rotations, and contributing to project teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Sybase ASE and replication, along with proficiency in scripting and T-SQL.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide operational support for relational databases, with a focus on Sybase ASE
  • Manage and support database replication processes
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system availability
  • Utilize scripting, Foglight, and T-SQL to monitor and maintain database environments
  • Contribute to database migration projects
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a project team
  • Adhere to a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of three days per week on-site

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in supporting relational databases, specifically with Sybase
  • Thorough knowledge of Sybase ASE and replication
  • Proficiency in scripting, T-SQL, and Foglight
  • Expertise in Sybase IQ
