Appian Developer

• Extensive experience in Appian BPM application development
• Knowledge of core Appian concepts, records, interfaces, process models, deployments using pipeline, integrations, Web API's
• Knowledge of Appian architecture and its best practices
• Participate in analysis, design, and new development of Appian based applications
• Provide technical leadership to Appian Teams and cross functional teams
• Provide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements
• Consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOs
• Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles
• Assist with training activities and mentor junior team members
• Build applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.
• Perform Analysis, Designing process models, Records, Reports, SAIL, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services and web services
• Work with different Appian Object types, query rules, constant rules and expression rules
• Assess risk when business decisions are made
• Participate in Production Deployments, Process improvements and delivery planning

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Implementing IT solutions using BPM or integration technologies
• At least 3 years of experience in Implementing BPM solutions using Appian 19.x or higher
• Certification Mandatory- L1 and L2
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies with Enterprise level application development projects
• Proficient in writing SQL and have good understanding of database concepts
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting
• Good leadership skills and the ability to lead a team of software engineers technically
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations with changing requirements
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
