Appian Developer

• Design and develop scalable, memory-efficient, and user-centric Appian applications
• Apply advanced Appian Design Patterns to deliver high-quality solutions
• Analyse Appian architecture and logs for effective development and troubleshooting
• Define and implement robust integration patterns, including inbound, outbound, and exception handling
• Establish and drive comprehensive application testing strategies
• Track, document, and manage features, designs, and work items using JIRA and Confluence
• Decompose solutions into modules and components to enable parallel delivery across the team
• Develop and optimise complex stored procedures, views, and database structures
• Proactively analyse, troubleshoot, enhance, and deliver solutions with minimal dependency on others

• Appian Level 3 / Architect certified (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of Appian design patterns, architecture, performance, and logging
• Solid experience with MySQL/MariaDB and complex database optimisation
• Strong API and integration experience (inbound, outbound, exception handling)
• Experience defining test strategies and automated testing (FitNesse)
• Familiarity with Splunk, JIRA, and Confluence
• SAFe Foundation / Leading SAFe preferred
• Able to work independently and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Candidates must be living in Melbourne or Sydney

Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
