Job Description:

KBC GS Business Solution Competence Center provides direct support to business end users through data automation, report creation, maintenance of existing code, and the development of new applications. We work with a variety of technologies, including Appian, Pega, RPA, SAS, VBA Macros, SQL, MS Access, Mainframe, Web2PY, Power Apps, and QlikSense, among others. We are currently seeking a developer to join our Appian team. Job Responsibility:

Take part in end-to-end implementation, ongoing problem-solving, maintenance, and support for agile software solutions
Work across diverse business domains, technologies, and collaboration models
Be part of a large, international, and distributed team
Perform various software engineering activities related to business requirements, functional design, technical design, development, application integration, package configuration, testing, deployment, and other software-related development activities
Maintain, monitor, and manage systems and applications, paying extra attention to performance, quality, and security
Document and build personal knowledge of software solutions and methodologies/frameworks for software design and development via continuous learning
Contribute actively to the learning organization through communities of practice, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Follow market evolutions within the assigned applications, solutions, and software frameworks (including their interfaces) and advise on the functionality of new developments

Requirements:

Advanced Software Engineering Practice: Software Development Life Cycle knowledge
Software Quality Assurance and Testing knowledge
IT Standards, Procedures & Policies knowledge
Agile Methodologies knowledge (SAFe and Scrum)
Advanced level of spoken and written English
Secondary education or professional training with a school-leaving exam

Nice to have:

Experience with Appian or other low-code or automation platforms
Unix server knowledge
Advanced SQL knowledge (Oracle SQL)
Basic knowledge of BPMN
Experience with integrations and APIs
Active experience with Atlassian tools
