Job Description:

As the Apparel Production Merchandiser, you will ensure smooth apparel production operations, maintain quality standards, and deliver on-time results while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee Production Timelines: Manage the entire production timeline, ensuring all milestones align with the critical path
  • Supplier Liaison: Communicate daily with suppliers and manufacturers to monitor production progress, resolve delays, and maintain schedules
  • Quality Assurance: Keep a close eye on production quality, coordinating with QA teams to ensure all products meet specifications
  • Timely Deliveries: Ensure all orders are delivered in full, on time, and to the right quality standards
  • Swiftly address any issues that arise
  • Status Reporting: Maintain and update weekly delivery status reports, highlighting risks and proposing solutions
  • Internal Communication: Provide timely updates to internal teams, escalating any production issues promptly
  • Bottleneck Resolution: Anticipate and tackle production bottlenecks, material shortages, or capacity challenges with a proactive mindset
  • Documentation Management: Ensure all production documentation is accurate and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in apparel production or merchandising
  • Strong understanding of the apparel manufacturing process
  • Proven experience managing a critical path and working with offshore suppliers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of ethical sourcing and compliance standards
