Job Description

The Apps Support Intmd Analyst is an emerging professional who independently handles problems and resolves Production issues. They apply analytical thinking and data analysis skills, with attention to detail when performing analysis. The analyst deals with diverse issues with significant business importance and clearly communicating production information. Their work directly impacts application stability

Job Responsibility

  • Provide production application support for users of Citi Applications
  • Offer short-term resolutions and collaborate with technology partners for long-term remediation
  • Drive the communication bridge between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing
  • Participate in Application Release Management (development, testing, deployment), perform post-release checkouts and Conduct root cause analysis
  • Work with development teams to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling
  • Actively Support Project items focused on Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness

Requirements

  • SQL
  • Unix/Linux
  • Oracle
  • Servicenow
  • Monitoring tools (ITRS, Splunk, Appd, Grafana, Kibana)
  • Autosys/ControlM
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of app support and other technical areas
  • Interest in automating and standardizing procedures
  • Basic grasp of financial markets and products
  • Familiarity with problem management tools and analytical thinking
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player, able to share information and influence others
  • Ability to plan workload and track issues
  • Understands business and technology strategy
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
