Job Description

The APJ Server Market Development Directordrives regional technical and go‑to‑market enablement for server platforms across Asia Pacific & Japan region. This role sits at the intersection of BU, sales, marketing, customers and partners, translating AMD’s product and technology into clear and differentiated value for customers and partners. This role needs to build strong connection and partnership with backend BU resources and deliver the key responsibilities described below. The position also serves as a key Voice of the Market, ensuring APJ requirements are reflected back into BU.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in server platforms, datacenter technologies, or enterprise infrastructure, including pre‑sales, product management, or technical business development
  • Strong understanding of: Server CPU and GPU architectures
  • Platform design (memory, I/O, networking, accelerators)
  • Power, thermals, and system constraints
  • Software ecosystems (OS, virtualization, cloud stacks, AI frameworks)
  • Proven experience working with OEMs, CSPs, and enterprise customers in complex technical sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to translate deep technical concepts into business and customer value
  • Fluent in English
  • High technical credibility with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable coordinating across global, matrixed organizations
  • Strategic mindset with practical execution focus
  • Effective collaborator across cultures and regions in APJ
