Job Description:

HPE is accelerating its strategic growth in the Hybrid Cloud Software business, with significant investment in expanding the scale and reach in APJ region. We are seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial leader to scale our Hybrid Cloud Operations Software business across APJ. This role is ideal for a hands-on candidate with a startup mindset who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes full ownership, and knows how to turn ambiguity into momentum. You will act as the regional Sales Leader for the hybrid cloud operations software portfolio, driving strategy, execution, and growth. While operating within a global enterprise, this role requires startup-style urgency, creativity, and bias for action.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end APJ business for hybrid cloud operations software
  • Build and execute a region-first strategy, identifying whitespace opportunities and creating demand where none exists today
  • Operate comfortably in ambiguity, rapidly testing ideas, iterating, and scaling what works
  • Act as a hands-on builder, working directly with sales teams on deals, pipeline creation, and customer wins
  • Position the portfolio around business outcomes, not just technology — resilience, speed, cost efficiency, and operational excellence
  • Bring market and customer insights directly back to product and global leadership
  • Build, inspire, and lead a small, high-impact regional team with a “doer” mentality
  • Create a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Drive rigorous execution while maintaining flexibility and speed
  • Track results obsessively — pipeline, adoption, wins, losses, and customer impact

Requirements:

  • 10–15+ years in enterprise software, cloud platforms, or infrastructure software solution, with clear evidence of entrepreneurial leadership
  • Experience building or scaling a new business, portfolio, or region, ideally from early or growth stage
  • Strong domain knowledge in hybrid cloud, cloud operations, or IT operations
  • Proven ability to operate hands-on, from strategy to deal execution
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, imperfect environments
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
