Job Description:

We are looking for an API Integrator. In this role, you will work on connecting a bank’s internal trading and pricing systems with external structured products platforms such as SIMON, Luma, and HALO. You will design and implement API integrations that enable traders, sales, and structuring teams to create, price, and distribute structured products efficiently. You will work closely with Front Office Technology, Quants, Trading teams, and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable integrations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build, and support REST‑based API integrations with external structured products platforms (SIMON, Luma, HALO)
  • Integrate external platforms with internal pricing, booking, and lifecycle systems
  • Handle authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, API keys, token‑based auth)
  • Define and implement API contracts, data models, and payload mappings
  • Implement error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring
  • Support UAT and production rollout, including performance and volume testing
  • Work with business stakeholders to translate trading and structuring requirements into technical solutions
  • Coordinate with external vendors (platform providers) on integration standards
  • Produce clear technical documentation and integration runbooks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience with REST APIs and system integrations
  • Experience integrating with external vendor platforms
  • Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, bearer tokens)
  • Experience working in Front Office or Capital Markets environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of SIMON, Luma, or HALO platforms
  • Experience with structured products or derivatives
  • Experience with cloud-based integration patterns
  • Ability to collaborate with IT, trading, quant, and operations teams
