Job Description:

The API Client Exchange Developer role at NTT DATA requires 5-8 years of experience in API development, particularly with .NET and Azure technologies. Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs using .NET technologies
  • Build and enhance Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps to support required API workflows
  • Integrate with existing backend systems including: LC360 APIs, DCT Task APIs, BLOB Storage & SQL Databases
  • Configure Global APIM with new API endpoints across environments such as Dev, QA, SIT/UAT, and Prod
  • Work closely with the Solution Architect and Tech Lead to translate technical designs into high-quality, production-ready components
  • Participate in technical discussions, problem-solving, and solution refinement
  • Ensure code adheres to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
  • Perform unit testing and prepare supporting documentation
  • Assist QA and UAT teams by troubleshooting defects and providing timely fixes
  • Utilize existing DevOps infrastructure and pipelines for CI/CD processes
  • Update or add configuration values within Key Vault and App Configuration as needed
  • Ensure secure API communication using private endpoints, TLS, and firewall-restricted flows
  • Prepare development documentation, including API specifications, integration notes, and error-handling guidelines
  • Support environment rollouts and deployment validation activities

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in backend and API development using .NET (C#)
  • Strong experience designing and building REST APIs
  • 5-8 years hands-on expertise with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Experience working with: Azure Key Vault, App Configuration
  • Azure BLOB storage
  • SQL Server (CRUD operations, stored procedures)
  • Familiarity with secure API integrations, private endpoints, and cloud-based enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, tech leads, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
